Computer Service for Arab, Alabama — Homes and Small Businesses

Arab Computer Service is the general-purpose front door for local folks who aren’t sure whether they need a repair, a remote session, or just a sensible second opinion. Tell us what’s happening and we’ll route the work to the right part of our local team — in-shop bench, remote tech, or an on-site call.

For the Home

Family laptops, home-office desktops, Wi-Fi that drops out at the back bedroom, smart-TV sign-ins that went sideways, printers that only work when the planets line up. We do the unglamorous work that keeps home tech from ruining a weekend.

  • Slow PC tune-ups and SSD upgrades
  • New-computer setup and migration
  • Home Wi-Fi, mesh, and router replacement
  • Email recovery and password cleanup
  • Printer and scanner sanity restoration

For Small Business

Shops, offices, and practices with 2–25 seats where “the computer guy” shouldn’t be a full-time hire but also shouldn’t be a random answer every six months. We’re the retained local resource that learns your systems once and keeps the notes.

  • New workstation rollouts and imaging
  • Office network, switches, and access points
  • Point-of-sale and peripheral support
  • Microsoft 365 and business email setup
  • Backup, UPS, and recovery planning

How a Typical Call Goes

1. You Describe It

Phone, email, or text us with what the computer is doing and when it started. No menu tree, no hold music.

2. We Triage

We tell you up front whether this is a 10-minute remote fix, a bench job, an on-site visit, or something you honestly don’t need to pay someone to solve.

3. We Do the Work

Most home tickets close within one or two business days. Emergency business tickets typically close the same day.

4. You Get Notes

Every ticket ends with a short written summary of what was done, what was replaced, and what to watch for next.

Where We Work

Primary service area includes Arab, Guntersville, Albertville, Boaz, Horton, Union Grove, Joppa, and the rural communities between them. We also cover portions of Morgan, Cullman, and DeKalb counties on request, and remote work is available to anyone with a working internet connection anywhere in Alabama.

Not sure what kind of help you need? That’s exactly what this site is for. Tell us what’s broken and we’ll point the right technician at it.

Want to Prepare?

Have the make/model of the computer ready and a one-sentence description of what it’s doing (or not doing). That’s usually enough to get started.
